Bloomin’ Arts, a public art event, is designed to energize Boulder, Colorado’s community through visually connecting art and nature.

Local artist-designed flower pots will be located throughout the City of Boulder from Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend, 2014. Our Twenty Ninth Street Outdoor Mall has committed to hosting 14 of the giant planters, while the others will be put in fun spots around Town. Bloomin’ Arts concludes over the Labor day week with a Garden Party auction fundraiser and arts celebration.

There will be a map to let you know where the pots will be, and more information from the artists themselves.

We are looking forward to the Bloomin’ Arts experience for the summer of 2013!

Anna Anna Mahorski

Anna grew up spending long hours in her grandmother's huge garden ---taking in all the wonderful colors, shapes and scary insect forms. She started drawing at an early age, and hasn’t stopped painting, beading, and sewing.

Not surprisingly, as an adult, Anna opened her own business, Anna’s Herbs, in Boulder, where she grew many varieties of herb plants, from culinary to dye herbs that were sold wholesale and retail. Some years later, Anna completed the Master Gardening Extension course for Boulder County.

Bloomin' Arts was born out of Anna's passion for both art and gardening. She is dedicated to public art in Boulder and to showing the beauty of hand made art and flowers, together!
